A Loving Heart
I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving. Family is so important in my life and I am sure you all feel the same way.
I have done several layouts featuring my family members and I can't wait to share them with you. This is a photo of my husband's grandmother Pearl. I have done a layout featuring her before, but as soon as my husband saw it, he took it! Not to worry, he showed it to his grandmother Pearl and his mother now owns the layout. I am so happy that is now a treasure for them to enjoy.
Now, that left us without a layout of her, so I created this one to keep. It is titled "Loving Heart." She is such a wonderful woman and truly has a loving heart, so I thought the title would be perfect.
I have included these close up photos for you.
I used a book plate from Tim Holtz and turned it on its side. I framed a beautiful cameo from Webster's Pages. The brown fabric flower is also from Webster's Pages.
I did lots of pretty layering on this one. I made sure not to go too fussy.
Just another photo of the layers. I used a transparency to give interest on the left side of the photo.
Thanks for stopping by, please come again.
