Photo – Less Layout

I love to collect pieces of ephemera, cards, books, etc. I find that they make the most wonderful vintage pages. Heck, I even mix them with modern pages to give a unique look.

When I received the June Swirlydoos Kit it contained a package of vintage pieces from Glitz Designs. There was one piece in particular that caught my eye. I didn’t want to create a card to give away. I wanted to create a piece that I could display and cherish.

My latest obsession has been the new Dusty Attic laser cut chipboard pieces. I nearly ordered one of each from the Swirlydoos online store. Dusty Attic has a wonderful collection of beautiful designs. The gates are among my favorite. I used one ½ of a gate to accent my card. I used my acrylic paint dabber (white) and then sprinkled white glitter (Making Memories) on top while it was still wet. I did not completely cover the fence with paint. I wanted the natural chipboard to peek through.

Supplies:

June Swirlydoos Kit
Chipboard Gate – Dusty Attic
Cabbage Rose Ribbon - Memrie Mare Etsy Shop

Thanks for joining me today.
