Me

You all have seen this photo as my profile photo but I have never scrapped it until now.  I used a fun new website called Photofunia.  My scrappy friend Lisa Valentine turned me on to it.  They have wonderful images and it allows you to upload your photo into a pre-designed scene.

I used Webster's Pages to create this layout of "Me."  I have had this beautiful vellum paper for months.  I was saving it for the perfect photo.  As soon as I printed out my photo from Photofunia I knew I had the right photo.

The vellum has a chandelier but because it is vellum it is very faint.  I decided to add a Dusty Attic chipboard chandelier on top of my vellum image.  Below I show you how I decorate the frame.

I painted the chipboard chandelier base with white acrylic paint.

I added Banana and Ocean Blue acrylic paint from Making Memories to accent the chandelier.

Once the flames and dangles were dry, I added Lemon Ice Stickles to create a beautiful sparkle.  I also added blue Stickles over the blue paint.

Here is the finished piece.  I love the way it tunred out.

I added Webster's Pages fabric trim above my Prima floral border.

I finished the layout with Prima bling and a beautiful Prima flower from my inventory of madness.

Thanks so much for joining me today.

Robin

Hi, Robin. What a gorgeous layout! Love the details on that chandelier.

I found your blog through Scrapbooks-Plus (it's the store I shop at--I live in Maryland). Would you mind sharing with me where you are able to find the Dusty Attic pieces?

Thanks so much!

Debbie, I didn't have your contact info. I ordered the Dusty Attic products from www.swirlydoos.com. Go to the "our store" tab on the left side of the page.
