Verve Stamps: New Release Spotlight Day 1!

I am honored to join the Verve Stamps Divas as their guest designer for the month of July.

Please join me and the fantastic Verve Divas as we shine our sneaky Verve spotlight on some brand new stamps! We're counting down to Verve's release party this Friday night, July 8, with THREE days of Spotlight Hops! And since new Verve is something to celebrate, there's a big PRIZE hidden on one of today's hop spots! Just leave a little shout-out in the comments as you hop about for a chance to win the entire July release! You can check out the Verve Blog for all the prize details and deadlines.

New Mercies I See

The New Mercies stamp set features the most beautiful sentiments just perfect for cards of comfort.  In addition to sentiments, there are beautiful clusters of leaves and delicate flowers.

I stamped the individual flowers and mounted them on foam squares.  I added stickles to the flower centers for a little shine.  The sentiment was stamped with Memento Pigment Ink - Ivy, then embossed with clear embossing powder.

This is my second card using the New Mercies set.  I can't think of a more beautiful way to let someone special know that you are thinking of them in their time of need.  I used Spellinders dies to create the border and corner accent.  To finish my design I added mini flowers from Maya Road.

Stamps: New Mercies
