As Prima designers we often receive wonderful boxes filled to the brim with all sorts of Prima goodies! There's always a gorgeous mix of all of the lines. It is always fun to see what each individual designer loves and today I am sharing what I am loving in my creative space and why.

I was inspired by the gorgeous colors of the pumpkins from the “Time to Flourish” October pages and thought I would create a layout where those images could really shine. I decided to mirror my focal design in the top corner using papers from the 8x8 “Time to Flourish” October pages. This is such a fun look and adds interest to the page. I used a chalk ink to stamp drips on the page. Using the chalk ink allowed me to smear the ends of the drips easily.

How fun was it to use the Groove Tool to apply ink to my project??? Very! I was able to apply my ink easily and found that I saved time in the process.

October ushers in a new season filled with chilly nights, gorgeous falling leaves, and crisp apple harvest! (Unless you live in the southern hemisphere, then you have the exact opposite!) Either way Prima's fresh palette will bring a twist of warm richness to your projects.

"Breast Cancer. It's a horrible disease that affects so many around us: friends, moms, sisters, aunts, neighbors, co-workers. And, although the majority affected are women, this is a disease that also attacks men. Let's do what we can this month to bring awareness to the devastation breast cancer causes. Prevention is the key!"
I am from a family of breast cancer survivors and I designed this card to show my love and support for those who are enduring this struggle.
