I had so much fun creating this layout featuring soft pinks and greens. I used self adhesive canvas from Claudine Helmuth as my background sheet. Next, I placed a template (Harlequin, The Crafter's Workshop) on top o f my canvas and misted it with Cotton Candy Chalkboard Glimmer Mist. Then I sprayed my page lightly with Key Lime Glimmer Mist.

I placed cheesecloth diagonally across the left side of my page to create a soft, dreamy feel. I used Claudine Helmuth's multi medium matte to adhere my cloth. I sprayed lightly over the cloth with more Chalkboard mist.

Next, it was time to layer my elements. I cut a circle using Graphic 45's Little Darling collection, then placed it to the right of my photo. I used ribbon from Hero Arts which I also sprayed with the Chalkboard mist. I cut it into pieces and placed the pieces randomly around my page.

I used Martha Stewart Crafts tags which are in the shapes of circles to add a soft edge to my hard lines. I inked the edges of the tags with Spun Sugar Distress Ink and misted the centers with Key Lime Glimmer Mist. The "Love" chipboard title (Imaginarium Designs) was painted using Celery acrylic paint (Making Memories).

Here is a close up of the soft layers I created using cheesecloth, paper layers and flowers. I love using Zva's flowers and leaves to create a soft, beautiful effect.

I embossed a solid piece of pink cardstock and distressed the edges. I added delicate Zva pearls creating another beautiful layer to my page. To finish my design, I added a sweet little clothesline from K & Company. I have had this in my stash for almost a year so I figured it was time to use it! lol.

Graphic 45 Little Darlings Collection

Hello everyone!

I have another sneak peek for you from Winter CHA. Graphic 45 is taking you "behind the scenes" at the show and will be featuring projects from the Design Team. This is one of my projects titled "Happiness Be Yours." Be sure to head over to the blog to see more gorgeous projects from the team and peeks from the show.

I love creating unique shaped cards. I went through all of my Cricut cartridges to find just the right shape to coordinate with the Little Darlings collection. While both the New Arrival and Heritage carts had gorgeous carriages, I chose this vintage baby carriage from the Heritage cart. This is one of my favorite cartridges to use for my vintage projects and this shape was the perfect match for my patterned papers.

I cut the background using white cardstock which I inked with Old Paper Distress Ink. Next, I cut the main image using “Little Treasures”. I added a paper border, Graphic 45 trim, Pom Pom trim and a beautiful white ribbon to embellish my card. I finished my design with a beautiful “For Baby” image from “Bundle of Joy” and round punched circles (from “Baby Borders”) in the center of the wheels (topped with Diamond Stickles).

The inside of my card has a message that reads "Happiness Be Yours". Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo of it before I sent it off!

The stamp I used for the sentimet is from Crafty Secrets called Card Sentiments.

My terrific color focus for this month is Orange and Ginger. I used the Farmhouse collection from October Afternoon to create my layout. First, I started with cream cardstock, then used a beautiful Harlequin template from The Crafter's Workshop to create a custom background.

I love using circles in my design and I thought they would work well with these wonderful new crystals.

Here you can see the gorgeous Zva flowers I used along with the crystal embellishment which provides a beautiful touch of elegance to the page.

I wanted to add interest to the top corner of my page. I used more circles framed by more beautiful crystals.

Magic Happens! Graphic 45 CHA Sneak Peek!

Hello and welcome!

Wow, the last two weeks have been absolutely crazy in my craft room! I have been preparing all of my projects for the Winter 2012 Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) Show in Anaheim, CA.

As you can see from all of the sneaks I have posted, Graphic 45 has done it again! They have created some of the most beautiful papers I have ever seen! Out of all of the projects I prepared for the show this project, "Magic Happens", is my favorite.

Do you believe in love at first sight? If you do, then you will know how I felt the first time I saw the Olde Curiosity Shoppe collection. The gorgeous vintage imagery and magnificent color palette will truly make your heart soar. I found this wonderful vintage photo of Nellie Donegan taken in 1913. As soon as I saw it I knew she would make the perfect focal point for my design. I married the old with the new by usng Graphic 45's current metal and chipboard staples. They add just the right touch to this magical page.

I created custom flowers for the layout to show the versatility of the papers. I used my McGill Flower punch (Floriana) to create these lovely layered flowers. I punched each layer, sprayed them with Perfect Pearls mist (Heirloom Gold), inked the edges, then shaped them. Once I shaped each piece, I layered them and fastened them in the center using Graphic 45's button staples. I trimmed around each button with Cinnamon Stickles.

This gorgeous image of a roller skate was my inspiration. I added another custom flower int he corner yet I didn't cover the beautiful flourish in the patterned paper.

Top 10...11...12...Cards of 2011!

I love top 10 lists. This week I will be sharing my favorite cards, layouts and altered projects of 2011. In this case, I went over 10 just a bit. lol.

2011 was a great year for me for cardmakinig. I was blessed to have several cards published and two of my favorite cards of the year are currently being added to magazines so I can't show them here just yet. But, there are plenty of others that I truly loved and here they are....

This was my number 1 fave! I created it while on the DT for Cardabilities.

This card tied for first place for my faves of the year! I was a guest designer for Verve Stamps and I used their beautiful New Mercies collection to create the sentiment and all the lovely little flowers and sprigs

I loved using Outer Stairstep card bases to create some of my most favorite cards of the year. This card features gorgeous papers from Pion Design.

The Nantucket collection from Pink Paislee was another one of my favorite collections of the year. This was my first Cardabilities DT project.

Who doesn't love black and pink?

I loved the Soiree collection from Pink Paislee. The bright colors just drew me in! This card designed itself! lol.

LaBlanche Stamps quickly became one of my favorites in 2011. I didn't share this card online as it was made a sample for a card kit I designed. I just love this stamp called Tree with Notes.

The Shabby Tea Room is one of my favorite card challenge sites. I created this card when I had the honor of being a guest designer for the first week in July. What theme could be more fitting?

Everyone who knows me knows I love Graphic 45! The Christmas Emporium collection was one of the most exciting and beautiful holiday collections of the year. This card was created for Summer CHA.

I don't enter many contests, but I stepped out of my comfort zone and created this card for a guest design spot with Verve Stamps for the month of July. I am happy to say that I was chosen and it is all because of this gorgeous sentiment stamp and Bo Bunny papers.

Here is another one of my favorite cards of the year! I think it's the color combo and that bow made with May Arts ribbon. I couldn't give this one away...I love it too much! lol.

This was one of my favorite color combos of the year. I haven't been able to part with this one.

This circle pop-up card earned many fans this year. I used a template that I had to fight with on occasion...but...it was worth it!

I couldn't stop using the Christmas Emporium collection from Graphic 45. The images and colors truly inspired me this year.

Now, it's time for me to try to pick my favorite layouts. It's not going to be easy. lol.

Pages of My Book - Guest Designer!

I am so excited to be the guest designer this month for Pages of My Book. Pages of My Book provides beautiful monthly challenges which features an inspiration image along with a word. The word this month is PLACE.

Here is the inspiration photo for January, 2012.

.....and here is my layout based on the inspiration photo and word. I used a gorgeous piece of die cut paper from Anna Griffin and lots of flowers and substantial embellishments.

I used a beautiful Prima sprig featuring sweet little birds and bright, bold yellow flowers.

I love to use lots and lots of flowers. I used a gorgeous color combo of orange, red and yellow which was inspired by the inspiration photo.

Here's a close up of the flowers. I added a red flower center to my yellow flower. I love the way my flowers appear to blend in with the flowers on my photograph.

Cardabilities Sketch #46

I can hardly believe we have come to the end of another year. I would like to wish everyone a happy and joyous new year!

This is my last card project with the Cardabilities Design Team. It has been a true pleasure working with Karan and her beautiful sketches for the past three months.

I used Pink Paislee’s Bonjour and Nantucket collections to create my card. I love the soft color palette that both collections offer and thought they would be perfect for this card sketch.

I used scalloped cardstock to create the three scalloped rows at the top of my design. I used my large scalloped circles die from Spellbinders to create the half circle design just below my scalloped rows.

I finished my design with ribbon, decorative pins and a soft fabric flower.

I am so happy you could join me today as I reveal my Graphic 45/Petaloo calendar project. Graphic 45 and Petaloo have teamed up this week to show you the latest Graphic 45 collection, Tropical Travelogue and the beautiful Darjeeling flower collection from Petaloo.

I love decorative calendars and I was extremely excited when I heard we were partnering with Petaloo to create a calendar. I decided to use a large frame originally designed to hold 6 4x6 photos. To finish my design I used a variety of Petaloo Darjeeling flowers to embellish my frame. A May Arts ribbon, topped with a Darjeeling flower, was used to hang my photo frame on the wall.

I used calendar stickers which were die cut, then placed on a dark brown square mat. I used Exotic Destination from the Tropical Travelogue collection as my background in each section.

Zva Creative December DT Blog Hop!

Hello everyone and welcome!

Zva Creative and our talented Design Team are delighted to have you join us for our December Design Team blog hop! The Blog Hop starts today, December 19th and runs through midnight US Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, December 20th.

As you know, Zva offers many beautiful color groupings for pearls, flowers and crystals. We want to make sure that they shine bright for you, so each designer was asked to share a creation using a specific color or color combination on their blog hop project. The Blog Hop begins at Windy Robinson's blog. She will have the complete list of all the participating blogs in case there is a glitch along the way. I used the beautiful Sweet Nothings collection from Kaisercraft to bring out the beauty of the soft pink Zva flowers. My color focus is pink and I absolutely love it!

I layered various hues of pink along with cream to accent my photo. The 8" branch adds beautiful texture along with the Zva pearl flourishes. I used a dry brush and Manila acrylic paint to give my leaves a soft, light appearance.

Cardabilities Sketch #45

I love this sketch! This month Cardabilities has some beautiful sketches in store for you. When I first saw the sketch I knew exactly what I wanted to create.

I decided to make a 6x6 card using white and tones of pink. A few months ago I cut a gorgeous border using a Spellbinders border die. I have held onto the piece just waiting for the perfect project. This was it! I adorned my die cut border with pink liquid pearls and pink chalk ink. I also used Spellbinders dies to create my leaves. I wanted to keep with my monochromatic theme, so I made the leaves white with soft pink accents.

I finished my card design with gorgeous Prima flowers and a beautiful sentiment banner from Making Memories.

Hello everyone!

I love weddings and I love the new Sweet Nothings collection from Kaisercraft...what a perfect combination.

I used gorgeous flowers and leaves from Zva Creative to adorn my photo. I used Mini Roses (FLBK-03CB-112), 2.5" Dual- Flowers - White & Dusky Pink (FL-04CA-128), 8" Branch w/ leaves (FL-04CA-109) and Pearl Lines - White (PEW-02CB-101). I cut leaves from my 8" branch and painted them with ivory paint.

I cut a large circle using my Jumbo Circle Cutter from Creative Memories. It is the fastest and easiest way (for me) to cut perfect circles. I used a zig zag stitch and white thread to attache my circle to the page. It's amazing how such a simple element can add so much to your design. I cut the chandelier, inked the edges with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink, then mounted using foam squares.

When sewing on your layouts be sure to apply enough glue just to hold your piece in place. You don't want to glue to closely to the sides where you will be sewing as your needle can pick up the adhesive.

I painted my FabScraps chipboard frame with acrylic paint and let dry. Once dry, I stamped word images using pigment inks, then I sprinkled clear embossing powder on top to heat emboss. I really like the texture that is created when heat embossing is applied. My chipboard lettering is from Tattered Angels Framed Fonts - Tattered Traveler. I inked the edges of each letter lightly with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.

I used the main kit contents to create my first layout titled "Angel." I created custom embellishments using various punches and dies. The large holly and branches were created using my Tim Holtz Holly Die by Sizzix. I fell in love with this die set and it is quick and easy to use. Once I die cut my pieces, I covered them with Rock Candy Distress Crackle Paint and sprinkled glitter on each piece while the paint was still wet. While you can't really see the full sparkle in the photo, in real life, these pieces really shine.

My next layout is definitely more traditional. I used lots of gorgeous chipboard from Dusty Attic and Want2Scrap to adorn my circle design. I painted each of the holly chipboard pieces with Smooch Ink in Lucious Lime and the large chipboard framing my photo was covered with Stickles in Candy Cane.

The kit included beautiful doilies which I sprayed with various colors of Glimmer Mist, Perfect Pearls and Distress Ink.

Main Kit Contents

I had so much fun with this one! This is one of my all time favorite photos of my friend's son during one of our big winter's two years ago. I just love the expression of joy on his little face.

A few years ago I created hills on a winter layout and thought it would be fun to draw a curved design to resemble a ski slope. (a very steep one at that! lol) I tucked the photo in between the papers so that it appears he is sliding down the slope.

This design is very simple but offers lots of movement. I added only two design elements, the punched circles and the die cut swirls. The title sticker is made by Anna Griffin and works perfectly with the papers and design.

Seasons Greetings! Card Sketch

Hello everyone!

I can hardly believe that Christmas is just around the corner. I haven't started the first bit of shopping yet, but working with the Christmas Emporium collection has definitely motivated me to get started.

In creating my card sketch this month, I worked backwards. I created the card first, then made a sketch based on my card design. That was not my original plan, but I am happy with the final result.

This sketch is easily adaptable for any occasion and this type of design has been used by many card makers out there I am sure.

I decided to tilt my focal image as well as the sentiment. However, the star of this design is the large bow I made using ribbon by May Arts. I love using different textures on cards, especially holiday cards.

The layout that I'm sharing today uses Zva's Graceful Roses (FL-04CA-133), Dual Flowers (FL-04CA-129), Dual Frosty Flowers (FL-04CA-124), Elegant Rose Buds - Blue, Mini Rose - White and Blooming - White Pearl (CR-04CA-119). My color focus is blue and ice white which goes beautifully with this photo of my daughter.

I added just a hint of white paint to my flowers to give them a dreamy look. I used the pearl flowers from Blooming White Pearls (CR-04CA-119) and cut them to make separate flowers. This allows me to place pearl flowers throughout my design.

Christmas Emporium Mini Album

Hello everyone!

I am the "Martha Stewart" of Christmas in my family. My maiden name is actually "Stewart" so I get teased quite a bit.

I made this mini album to display duirng the holiday season and for many years to come. I chose this album because of the unique design of the cover. The open design allows for lots of Graphic 45 goodness to shine through.

The cover of my album features Santa surrounded by flowers and chipboard tags. The album cover has diamond cut outs so I traced the shape on Core'dinations color core cardstock and cut out the diamonds. Once I adhered the black cardstock to the base, I measured each square on the top of the cover. I used "Merry and Bright" to create each of the squares then I adhered them on top of the black cardstock base.

I kept this page clean and simple since you can see it through the cover. I covered the base with the reverse side of "Happy Holidays" and I used the image shown from the front side of "Happy Holidays." I finished the design with a chipboard sentiment and flower accents.

This page showcases my daughter's holiday photo. I used several pieces of chipboard from the Die Cuts 1 & 2 sheets. I trimmed the bottom of the page with black pom pom trim to add a bit of elegance.

I used Core'dinations color core cardstock and Martha Stewart Crafts Vintage Floral punch to frame this gorgeous image from "Happy Holidays." I used puff paint on the fur trim of the image for a gorgeous 3-D effect, then I inked lightly with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. I added pleated cardstock and crystals to the bottom of page. I made these elements long enough to be seen when the album is closed. I finished off the page with red flowers and ornate flower centers.

Christmas Emporium Card and Sketch!

Hello everyone!

Join us today on the Graphic 45 blog as we share amazing Christmas card ideas. This is the card I created using the Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium collection.

I created the sketch above with this collection in mind. I kept the lines simple and the design allows you to add your own special touches. Be sure to give it a try!

I used beautiful pearls from Want2Scrap to accent the beautiful golden May Arts ribbon. I inked a doily by My Little Yellow Bicycle and tucked it behind my focal image. I finished my design with more May Arts ribbon and a pearl to cover the hole at the top of the chipboard element.

Cardabilities sketch #43 is an absolute joy! I used the Kaisercraft Bonjour collection to create this "Thinking of You" card. Even though we are headed into winter, I couldn't resist the lovely spring time color palette from the collection.

Hero Arts Exclusive Collection - Little Black Dress

So, I'm working on a project for my local scrapbook store and I just happen to see a gorgeous stamp set. I doubled back to take a closer look. The flowers and design drew me in and I ran to the counter with it in hand. It was the last set and rightly so...take a look below.....

This gorgeous new stamp set from Hero Arts coordinates with the Little Black Dress Collection from Basic Grey. The images are crisp and clear and produces a beautiful result.

I started by stamping the image on Solar Crest White cardstock. This is my favorite paper to use with Copic markers. The image was stamped using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. I used Copic markers RV10, RV93 and RV95 to achieve a rich pink color. I used B000 and B01 for the blue portion of the petals.

You will notice subtle white dots on the blue petals. I created the dots using Copic's Opaque White paint and a fine tip applicator. The butterflies are stickers from Kaisercraft's Bonjour collection. Finally, I finished my tag by applying pearls using my Viva Decor Pearl Pen in Light Blue.

Graphic 45 & Core'dinations Blog Hop Day 3!

Hello everyone!

Today is day 3 of the Graphic 45 and Core'dinations blog hop.

I used the Curtain Call collection along with Core'dinations Cardstock to alter this elegant Kaisercraft Bracket frame.

Curtain Call

Core Impressions Graphic 45 Timeless Collection

First, I painted the frame using black acrylic paint then sprinkled black glitter on top while the paint was still wet. Next, I traced my frame pattern on my cardstock, then trimmed. I sanded the cardstock then lightly inked the surface using Distress Ink (Black Soot).

I cut images from the Curtain Call collection and trimmed the inside of my frame using May Arts ribbon.

To finish my frame, I added metal buttons to each corner. You can really see the gorgeous May Arts ribbon with its gorgeous sparkle.

This was a fun and easy project using Graphic 45 and Core'dinations...what a perfect combination

Cardabilities Sketch #42

After this cool, crisp weekend I think it is safe to say that fall has arrived! I created this warm autumn card using the Nightfall collection from Memory Box.

I used the beautiful Fall Leaf Trio stamp by Memory Box in the place of the circle on the sketch. This stamp was fun and easy to use and Memory Box has a Fall Leaf Trio die to coordinate which made it easy to cut my image. I matted my patterned paper strips with bright white cardstock to add a gorgeous contrast. The sentiment stamp is from Hampton Art.

It's been a while since I have been able to sit and create a layout just for the heck of it. I was trolling through my local scapbook store and I cam across the new Bonjour collection from Kaisercraft.

I used netting from Webster's Pages to create a soft corner in the lower left corner of my photo. I layered flowers and stickers from the Bonjour collection on top of my netting.

I stamped a beautiful flourish around my circle using a stamp from Teresa Collins. On the inside of my circle, I used a paper piercing technique combined with stitching on the outer edges.

Today I’m going to share with you three layouts created using the Scrap That! November “Putting on the Glitz” Kit featuring the Glitz Designs Vintage Blue Paper Collection.

Let's get started!

The Sketch

Working with sketches can provide you with a terrific starting point for your layout. I designed the sketch this month to allow you to add multiple elements.

This first layout, using the main kit, shows a simpler design without extra flourishes. I used a circle to connect the embellishments in the upper and lower corners of my page.

In this next layout, which is another take on the sketch with added flourishes and flowers.

Be on the lookout for a complete video tutorial on this layout the third week of November on the Scrap That! blog.

The Layouts

I love this engagement photo featuring my cousin and her new husband. I loved the Glitz Designs Paper Layers and thought the "Live Laugh Love" sheet was perfect for this page. I added two Dusty Attic chpboard peacock feathers for a touch of drama. I painted the feathers gold, then used Liquid Pearls to color in the colorful details of the feathers.

I used Martha Stewart Crafts Wildflowers punch to create a pretty floral border for my page. I cut out a square from the center of my page to create a frame.

I created a fun paper bow to place behind my flower. I used water to soften the paper and then I shaped it into a bow using 1" strips of paper.

I love this photo of my parents. I have held it for quite some time just waiting for the right mix of papers, flowers and embellishments. The papers and embellishment have both feminine and masculine touches to represent my mom and my dad.

I used the embellishment add on which contains beautiful flowers and Prima resin shutters.

I am extremely excited to share with you my first project as a member of the Cardabilities Design Team. Cardabilities is an amazing site which offers a new card sketch twice per month. This is the beautiful sketch for 10/15/11 .

Today’s sketch reveal allows me to use one of my favorite design elements…flowers! I used the Nantucket collection from Pink Paislee because of the gorgeous color palette and coordinating pieces of ephemera.

Best Scrapbook Page Ideas of CHA Summer 2011!

This is a short post to share some exciting news. I had the extreme honor of having my "School Days" layout chosen as one of the Best Scrapbook Page Ideas of CHA Summer 2011 by About.com.

I used the An ABC Primer collection from Graphic 45 to create this nostalgic layout. The

Geometric Metal Door Plate from Graphic 45 was used to anchor my title. I cut the title from Games and Playtime. The shaped black cardstock is from Core'dinations Color Core SigSeries Graphic 45 collection. After I cut the shape, I lightly sanded the paper to reveal the lighter core of the cardstock.

The Layouts

Surprise! If you watched the “Glubers” video I hinted that the lace flower would be included on one of my projects…here it is! This layout was fun to make and includes some of my favorite things…flowers, chipboard and a touch of lace.

I used the glubers included in the kit to make this lace flower. This flower was quick and easy to make and I hope you give it a try.

I used several pieces of Dusty Attic Chipboard to enhance my page. Each piece was painted with Manila acrylic paint by Making Memories. I didn’t apply a heavy technique to the pieces because of the heavy embellishments already on the page. I simply added small touches of liquid pearls.

The Sketch

I had the honor of designing the sketch this month for our talented design team to use with this beautiful kit. For those of you who have followed me for a while, you will recognize the sketch as I have used it before and posted it on my blog for contests. This is my favorite sketch design and I was honored that it was selected.

My first layout was created using the main kit and sketch. To begin, I converted my photo to a sepia tone so as not to clash with the patterned papers.

My flowers and leaves were made using dies. The flowers are Tim Holtz’s Tattered Florals and the leaves are Sizzix Leaves. I love the shape of these leaves and they were quick and easy to make. Once I die cut them, I sprayed them with glimmer mist then folded them in the center. Once they were dry I was left with this gorgeous molded shape.

The swirls you see behind my flowers were made using a die called “Swirls” from Lifestyle Crafts.

This layout was created using the main kit along with the embellishment add on. I chose this collection of papers from Creative Imaginations IOD to enhance this beautiful photo. In my layout above I cut a circle from the center of my patterned paper. I used the circle in that layout and saved the negative to use here. I used the remainder of the paper and layered it on top of patterned paper.

Before adhering the pages together, I punched small circles (5/8”) and placed them under my circle cut out as shown below.

More handmade flowers using Tim Holtz's Tattered Florals die. I layered my handmade flower with flowers included in the kit.

You will also notice that this layout is also based on the sketch. Instead of one focal flower in the lower corner of my photo, I created a cluster of flowers, leaves and flourishes. I used the botanical branch from the main kit

I cut a decorative frame from my patterned paper and layered it using foam squares. The ribbon you see below the photo was sprayed with Glimmer Mist (Rum Punch) to achieve the splotchly affect you see above.

I Am Loved - Webster's Pages Banner of the Week

Hello everyone!

This layout was created for the Webster’s Pages September Challenge - “Dazzle Me.” I am happy to announce that my layout was selected as Banner of the Week! and I am so truly honored.

I used the beautiful new “All About Me” collection from Webster’s Pages to create this sweet layout of my little cousin. I converted the photo to black and white to coordinate with the cool color palette I selected for my layout. I created layers behind the photo using patterned paper, which I ripped, and netting. I mounted the photo on “You’re Timeless” patterned paper.

At the bottom of my page I used fabric ribbon and “All About Me” trim topped with Dazzle Me Gems.

I surrounded my photo with lots of layered flowers in different styles to add interest. To further enhance off my flower clusters, I tucked in dazzlers and punched patterned paper circles.

To finish my layout, I decided to use “All About Me” fabric tickets to create my title. I surrounded these beautiful tickets with flowers, gems, sparklers and whimseys.

I used the die cut from the collection to create a bracketed frame for my page. I trimmed my frame using my light green Pearl Pen by Viva Décor.

I hope you have enjoyed the awesome projects by my talented teammates thus far. I love the Wizard of Oz and the Magic of Oz collection from Graphic 45. I have said this many times, but the Scarecrow is my one of my favorite characters from the collection so you will see him quite a bit in my designs.

The design team created treat bags for Summer CHA using the Magic of Oz collection. I can tell you all that you are certainly in for a treat this week as we unveil our bags.

Trick or Treat!!!

I decided to use the Scarecrow as my focal image and surround him with other characters from the story.

First, I sprayed my paper bag and handles with Smooch Ink. I sprayed lightly so that you could see a hint of color from the paper bag.

I created a brick wall using a stencil from The Crafter's Workshop. Used yellow acrylic paint on dark brown cardstock. Once dry, I added glossy accents to each brick. The collection has wonderful images which I detail cut to create custom embellishments.

A Thing of Beauty - Digital

Hello everyone!

This was created for the September Digital Challenge at Webster's Pages. The challenge was to use lots of layers which I love!

I used a fun template by Lilacs in Bloom which I purchased from Shabby Pickle Designs. This is my first digital layout using Photoshop Elements. I usually use Storybook Creator but I wanted to try something a little different.
